The firm of Poling, McGaw & Poling P.C. was formed in September of 1987. The principals however, had been practicing together since 1974 in association with larger law firms.

The shareholders are D. Douglas McGaw and Richard B. Poling Jr. In addition to the principals, there are currently two associates, Kathryn E. Driscoll and Shannon M. Soliven, along with an experienced support staff. The firm has an "AV" rating in Martindale-Hubbell.

The goals of the firm are to deliver quality litigation, counseling and other legal services of a diverse nature in an efficient manner and for a reasonable cost.
